Benedikt Lorch
Postdoctoral researcher

I am a research scientist at GetReal Labs. Before that, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Security & Privacy Lab at the University of Innsbruck. I completed the DFG research training group 2475 “Cybercrime and Forensic Computing” at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg.
I am interested in applications of machine learning in image processing, with a special focus on reliability and security. So far I have worked on the following topics:
- Multimedia Forensics: image forgery detection, camera identification, steganalysis
- Machine Learning: uncertainty quantification, adversarial attacks and defenses
- Computer Vision: license plate recognition, content-based image retrieval
